Tender Award Announcement
Research Culture NI is pleased to announce that CRAC-Vitae, a non-profit organisation that conducts research on research, in partnership with RSM UK (Belfast), has been selected to conduct a review of research culture in Northern Ireland as part of the RCNI initiative. While the universities have made significant efforts to understand and improve research culture within an academic context, there is a need for landscape analysis and benchmark data that covers the entire R&I ecosystem in NI.
CRAC-Vitae and RSM, will utilise a mixture of qualitative and quantitative methods, to understand the relevance of different aspects of research culture among different stakeholders and identify priority areas. The findings will be disseminated publicly alongside clear recommendations for key stakeholders, such as government, funders, and industry.
Yolana Pringle, Head of Policy and Advocacy at Vitae stated, “We’re excited to partner with Research Culture NI to explore the scope of research culture across Northern Ireland. By engaging with a wide range of stakeholders, we aim to provide a comprehensive understanding of what matters most and offer actionable recommendations to enhance the R&I ecosystem.”
CRAC-Vitae and RSM have already begun conducting desk research and interviews with key stakeholders to begin the process of gaining a deeper understanding of the research and innovation landscape in Northern Ireland. To further support this, they have now launched a survey, open to everyone involved in the R&I sector. This is your opportunity to contribute your insights and help shape the future. Take part in the survey here.
